Terms of use
Last updated: July 29, 2026
These terms cover the Murmur mobile app and this marketing website. By using Murmur, you agree to use the service lawfully and responsibly. This is a product stub for launch readiness — have counsel review before commercial distribution.
The service
Murmur lets you capture voice memos with a hold-to-record gesture, store them privately, sync across devices when signed in, and search your library. Features may change as we improve the product.
Your content
You own the voice memos and related content you create. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process, sync, and display that content back to you as part of providing the service (including optional AI titles/transcripts after save).
Acceptable use
- Do not use Murmur to violate law or others’ rights.
- Do not attempt to access other users’ private memos.
- Do not abuse waitlist, auth, or API surfaces (spam, scraping, rate abuse).
Accounts
You are responsible for activity under your account. Keep credentials secure. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Availability
We aim for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The app and site may be updated, paused, or discontinued with reasonable notice when practical.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Murmur is not a medical, legal, or emergency recording product.
